Guard Card Yearly Review



Subject: Guard Card Review Class


Duration: 8 hours

Description: electives allowed by the state: part of the AB2880 classes, will change yearly, subjects to include: 2 hours of Appropriate Use of Force and any of the part 2-5 subjects and/or other subjects allowed by the state Review material is just that, a review of different subject matters pertaining to security (material changes)

Supplies: All necessary materials are provided

Documents needed: California drivers license, or California ID, personal information to fill out state forms such as social security number, address, please bring your Guard Card


Class Fee: $40 (paid in cash or money order)

* In Addition To Cash And Money Orders We Will Accept Most Credit Cards, Google Pay And Apple Pay However A Processing Fee Will Be Added

**We Do Not Accept Checks Unless It Is A Company Or Organization Check

Guard Card Annual Renewal



State Fee: $40 (paid by credit card)



Information to Renew your Guard Card Permit


Make sure to take your yearly review class (class fee $40, See Above)


Log into your Breeze account


Hit the Renewal button next to your Guard Card


Follow the steps and pay the $45 renewal fee

*This fee includes the State fee + the 2.3% processing fee for payment



Additional Information


You can renew your Guard Card permit 60-90 days before the expiration date.

(we recommend doing the renewal as early as possible to avoid a laps)


If you do not renew your permit by your expiration date you have a 60 day grace period so, you can still renew your permit but the state will charge a $25 late fee making your renewal $70.


**You will not be able to renew the permit after the 60 day grace period.**
